“The wise man does not lay up his own treasures.
The more he gives to others, the more he has for his own.”
― Lao Tzu
There are many ways to give, and we deeply appreciate all the gifts of time, talents and treasure that we receive.
There are also many ways to be of service, both within the church and in our larger community. Our Social Justice Team is involved in several projects throughout the year and we welcome those who wish to become more deeply involved in service to the congregation and to our city.
We encourage people to try new things and learn new skills because, we believe that living a life of integrity, service and love requires practice and a variety of life experiences. Sometimes, we find that we have talents we didn’t even know were there.
We always welcome financial contributions to help us meet our budget and operating expenses. This community is beloved to us, and we give in a way that expresses that love. We do not require a tithe, though we do ask you to consider giving generously.
Like many churches, we depend on individuals to help fund and carry out the work of our church. Our individual contributions support not only the local church, but collectively we support the larger denomination, the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA).
We know that the beloved community succeeds with many hands, making light work and hope you will join us!
