City of New Bedford Mayor's Youth Council Coat Drive

We are thrilled to partner with the City of New Bedford - Mayor's Youth Council, the YWCA SEMA, and the New Bedford Office of Community Services to bring the annual coat drive to UU New Bedford.

This year, we are accepting new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, mittens or gloves, snow pants, sweaters, boots, and blankets. Donations of gently used or new toys will also be accepted.

Drop Off Locations

First Unitarian Church in New Bedford, 71 8th Street, New Bedford. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 1 PM. During the holiday week, hours may vary. Please call 508-994-9686 to verify we are open. You can also drop off donations at the Thrift Shop, but please make sure you mention the items are for the coat drive.

You can also drop off donations on the morning of distribution, January 4, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the First Unitarian Church in New Bedford. Please use the parking lot door entrance.

YWCA Southeastern MA, 20 South Sixth St, New Bedford. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours. Please call 508-999-3255 with any questions.

Distribution

Distribution will take place on January 4, 2025, between 11 AM  and 3 PM at the First Unitarian Church Parish House, which is located at 71 8th St. Please use the parking lot door entrance.
